── Marie was born in Freya City, Japan under her Japanese mother and French father, making her half-Japanese half-french. However, she took more from her mom, gaining her blonde hair and sharp eyes. Much is unknown about her father, only that he left Marie’s mother after she found out he was cheating on her with another woman and impregnated her; giving Marie a half-sister. Due to these events, Marie grew up with an absent father and her mom who did everything she could to provide for her daughter. Growing up she would see other kids with two parents and Marie would always question why she only had one. With how young she was Marie’s mother never gave her a proper answer, knowing that she wouldn’t understand what had happened to her father.

Marie was never picked up on as a kid, despite only having one parent. Despite being loud and rowdy at a young age her mother would always chime in and give the girl her best advice. After all, she was her sweet girl, she wouldn’t want anything to happen to her. During school, she would always achieve good grades.

At fifteen years old, Marie uncovered the world of DJ and began to teach herself the basics of it. As time passed, she began performing at “Cafe Vinyl,” a new cafe with a music area. It was common for cafe with music areas to open up in Freya City, and most of them would hire intermediate musicians or DJ’s to bring attraction. With Marie’s determination, she secured a spot and became a common performer. Her mother was very proud, and as time went off, gave Marie more freedom to explore the city. The popularity would get to her sometimes, but never to the point where she was an egoist.

At sixteen years old, Marie met the girl called Argia, a girl who recently left her idol group “Plainsong”. Argia joined Marie ( albeit Marie was wary of her ). Since a popular j-pop idol joined Marie she gained more traction.

"It's been a week since you've performed," Marie spoke up as she scrolled through her phone. "There's an upcoming event for street musicians so you can join there." She suggested.

"Can I perform with you?" Argia asked confidently as she looked at the blonde.

Marie’s eyes widened at the question and she turned away. A small bead of sweat ran down her cheek. "Huh?" She blinked in surprise.

Argia stayed silent as Marie stared at her in surprise

"I want to perform with you," Argia declared confidently again. "More people have noticed you ever since I joined. Why not let me stay?" She wondered as she smiled kindly.

Marie was taken aback but what Argia was saying was true. Marie has grown a much wider audience thanks to the retired idol. It wouldn't make sense just to cut Argia off.

They created their name “Street Jump” where Marie and Argia performed at a street performer contest.

After their first successful show, a girl by the name of WAN, approached them and her “mistress” (later revealed to be Chiyu Shuan)
